I've NC for this (and do regularly), not too sure why though!
DH has been diagnosed with a brain tumour today. Seeing the neuro-oncology team tomorrow who will tell us the plan.
Shit
He's young (ish) 46, I've just started back at university. Our son is only 6
I just feel numb, don't know what else to say, sorry

Good news...!
Slow growing brain tumour which has probably been there at least 5 yrs
They will re scan him every 3 months but other than that, life continues as normal.
We are now in the pub with a bottle of wine celebrating!!

Glad to hear it was less scary news than you’d worried about. Obviously it’s still a concern for you both.

Phew! That’s a good outcome. Enjoy the pub! Smile

GrandmaSharksDentures · 18/10/2018 16:14

Thank you everyone!
This really is the least worst possible outcome, we are both bunking off working tomorrow & taking DS out of school (Yr2) & going to do something fun

OP posts:
FaithInfinity · 18/10/2018 16:22

I don’t blame you at all! Have a lovely day.

namechangedyetagain · 18/10/2018 16:26

I don't blame you. I've just lost my brother at 42 to a brain tumour (GBM so very aggressive). If nothing else it makes you realise how fragile life is and to enjoy every second. So enjoy the pub and your day out tomorrow Smile

MyGuideJools · 18/10/2018 16:31

I've Just come across this thread and was relieved to read the outcome. Of course no brain tumour is good but it's the best news that could happen.
Enjoy your day out tomorrow and best wishes for more good news moving onwards Flowers

3luckystars · 18/10/2018 16:34

I am going to book a holiday! Thank you and I'm so happy for your good news today x

ohfourfoxache · 18/10/2018 16:36
