Top vegetarian dinner party recipes?

I'm having friends round this weekend and the split of veggie/meat eaters is 50/50, and I would like to make one meal that we can all share.

Does anyone have any brilliant recipes they would recommend? Most of my dinner party recipes are meat-based and am excited to try something new! I love cooking Ottenlenghi or med style recipes for parties usually.

TIA!

The new Ottolenghi simple book is fab. I did three or four smaller dishes from that for a veggie dinner party last week. Pea & feta fritters, yoghurt with charred cherry tomatoes, broad bean and avocado crush, roast aubergines, and a whole roasted cauliflower which was pretty dramatic as a dinner party centrepiece!

Any photos? God I love food photos!!

Go with Ottolenghi then - best to stick to the stuff you know! I recently did a mezze style lunch for some friends, on of whom was veggie and two guest were dairy and wheat free. It was pretty full on in terms of prep - but nothing last minute and I was happy with the result.
So I made Ottolenghi's Burnt aubergine puree, roasted red pepper hummus, pomegranate salad, middle eastern potatoes, Romano peppers stuffed with feta, preserved lemon mint and pine nuts, green salad, harissa and bread. And for the meat eaters a slow cooked middle eastern style leg of lamb with herb salt for dipping.

I did the broccoli and gorgonzola pie from Plenty once. Only works with people who aren't afraid of a strong cheese but it was delicious and looked great in the middle of the table.
