Can they take the job away?

I have recently been offered a new job. It’s a great job and I am so lucky to get it. However I am currently signed off work from my current job due to my mental health. I have a diagnosis of borderline personality disorder and am so unhappy in my current job that it’s impacting on my mental health. I have told the new job about this and I am so worried they are going to take the new job away. Can they do that now that they have offered it me? Would it be discrimination or does that not apply?

Sadly the reality is that until contracts have been signed they could do anything and you'd be struggling to prove that it was related to your healthy. It might not do your Mental Heath any good to fight it anyway.
