I just found a nearly new Mulberry purse in a charity shop for £3.50! Gobsmacked!! Especially because this was in a 'naice' part of Hampshire and things are usually quite pricey.

Tell me your best finds????

Disclaimer - I gave them a tenner and said keep the change.

Elemis skincare set, unopened £4.00 brand new cashmere mix coat with tags on £15.00

Lots of baby tops for 10p each in a rummage box. Forgot the brand but French, Bon something. Sold those for £10 each on Ebay as too small for my daughter - they were new with tags and I was extremely broke at the time so it paid a good grocery shop.

In general though I've found lots of goodies in the past.

Dries van Noten chunky heeled Shoes of Joy for a pound.

I once found a piece of chewed up bubblegum in a pair of jeans I paid £3 for.

Almost new Barbour jacket for £20.

Friend found twenty quid in the pocket of a pair of trousers, he did give it back.

I've found too much to mention. White Company black skinny jeans for a fiver were a recent find.

Surely i can beat you all with a perfect fit/style wedding dress for £150. It was brand new. The shop was off loading old stock and donated about 5.

A man's full length cashmere overcoat. Can't remember the make, but it was top drawer. The only thing wrong with it was a couple of small moth holes under the collar. It was £3, and I gave it to my brother who was into hippy grunge at the time. He wore it to oblivion and said it was the warmest coat he had ever had, although you could hardly see him inside it as it was a generous fit.

Not clothing but a brand new jellycat teddy for my son. It was so well received!

rosie39forever · 10/10/2018 13:07

Immaculate Burberry trench coat £5 and Hermes silk scarf for £1.50!!

weebarra · 10/10/2018 13:08

Lots of Scandi kids stuff, not high street makes so prices cheaply.
An Avoca anthology dress for £5. Also a lladro model for my DM for £15, she was delighted.

Sigh. I MUST be going to wrong the shops. I never find anything remotely good.

confusedofengland · 10/10/2018 13:39

A big charity shop near me, where they sort a lot of things too, to be distributed to different stores, does all clothes for £2.49. Lots of tat, but also some good bits - I've had mini Boden clothes, high street stuff for me, a wetsuit for Ds3 & more. Also, from my village charity shop, a practically brand new Superdry coat for DH for £10.

EyUpOurKid · 10/10/2018 13:48

My wedding dress. Supposed to be £1100. It was up for £150 and didn't need any alternations, it fit perfectly. (We gave £250)

Literally the dress I'd been looking for and had been discontinued. It wasn't even a wedding specific charity shop.
