Superhero light party - Alternative to Halloween - St John's Church Hildenborough

Hello parents!

Are you looking for a safe, fun and exciting alternative to Trick or Treating for your children this October? If so, St John's Church Hildenborough is hosting a light party this Halloween for children in years R - 6 on Wednesday October 31st, 4:30pm-6pm.

Tickets are £4 per child and include a hot dog, chips and a drink plus lots of activities, games and a party bag at the end of the evening. There are also bursaries available if cost would preclude your children being able to come. Children are encouraged to come dressed in bright colours as their favourite superhero or invent their own costume. Prizes will be given for the most creative outfits! We give a short talk to the children about God's love for them at the start of the evening. Reception kids and those with additional needs must be accompanied throughout by a parent and we welcome parents to be part of the team on the night but need to know your details in advance for safeguarding reasons.

If you would like to buy tickets, this can be done in person. Please come to the church centre (address at the bottom of this post) between the hours of 9-5pm Monday to Thursday or 9am-12pm on Sundays and ask for Marcus, Sal or Amanda.

Well it's not an "alternative to Halloween" but an alternative to trick or treating. Halloween isn't trick or treating you know.

Well done for providing an alternative. Hope it goes well. We have often struggled with what to do and would have been delighted to attend something like this.

White parties are a really good idea. My daughter used to go to them and had a thoroughly good time.
