Potty training advice

Has anyone got any top tips for potty training. DD who is 2 won't tell me if she needs a wee. She will though tell grandma or if she needs one in the bath she will say to me "i wee" she's more than capable of telling me, she just won't. I'm letting her play without a nappy on so that I'm not washing and drying clothes all night. I keep asking her if she needs a wee and she says no. Keep asking her to sit on the potty. She won't, only if she wants to. So far no wee on the potty at all

She might not know yet what it feels like to need a wee. When you decide to do potty training choose a time when you have a good few days to stay in the house and just get rid of all day time nappies. Leave her naked from the waist down and when she starts to wee pick her up and put her on the potty and say ‘you wee in the potty now’. She will learn that feeling before needing a wee happens before she wees.
