House for rent 675 monthly

Single. Income at the mo 1981 monthly
A small amount of that is tax credits
I have a gaurantor

Should I hand the forms in or am I dreaming?

Hand over the forms - what’s the worst that could happen ?!

SleepingStandingUp · 09/10/2018 12:37

Bloody hell, where or what are you renting???

But yes, hand them in.

I have no idea whether that's enough for me to get it or not. It works for me but not sure what their standards are. No lurking estate agents?

That's fine, sounds perfectly affordable - the rent is about 1/3 of total income, which is fine.

HemanOrSheRa · 09/10/2018 12:47

Sounds ok to me. Do you have a good history of renting? Having just signed my life away as my stepdaughter's guarantor Grin make sure their credit rating/income is tip top.

Agh I wish I knew they would take me

Hi ,

I work in property and our criteria is 2.5 times the annual rent (£20,250) however this may not take into account tax credits etc (not had a tenant in that situation so just not sure off the top of my head). The guarantor would need to earn 3 times the annual rent (£24,300)
