What time for baby's birthday party to start in the afternoon?

I'm just planning DDs 1st birthday party and trying to tie down timings.

What's the usual etiquette for an afternoon party? 3pm-5pm? After all their babies have had a nap?

Or earlier like 2pm?

TIA!!

My daughter's 1st birthday party is in a couple of weeks and we're having 3-5pm. It seemed like a good time to me and I'll be expecting other babies to arrive late/leave early depending on naps

We did 3-5 as they were always awake by 3. Unpredictable before then!

I went to a first birthday party last Sunday and that was also from 3-5

Great! Thanks so much everyone Smile

I thought 3-5pm was ideal as all the babies will have had their usual naps and they can go home just before dinner time!
