Suddenly got period after 3 years!

I had my dtwins 3 years ago and have just got my first period since. Has anyone else experienced such a long gap in between? If it makes a difference I'm still breastfeeding and taking contraceptive mini pill.

I did enjoy the 3 years without it I must admit

I never have periods on the mini pill and didn't have periods whilst bf.

Sounds like you might be ovulating again so be careful! Congratulations on the period though, must be like starting puberty all over again (hope you don't get spots and scream at your mum) :-).

Doesn't the mini pill not give you periods?

I did get periods on the mini pill when I was taking it a few years back. Rebecca funny enough I have had a few spots and was very grumpy towards my dp the other day 😂
