OK. New to this, I'm desperate. Eldest DD of 2. Yr 8. Yr 7 my DD, Pre-end year 7, new circle of friends. Hormones? Yr 8 - Constantly stealing money out my purse, food from house, punish her for stealing money (grounded) - she retaliated with stealing food treats out of cupboard. Attitude is absolutely despicable - doesn't care (treats me and dad like pieces of shit) and speaks the same. Never had a detention, but yr 8 now it's detention after detention (calls from school), no discipline seems to work, she retaliates by punishing us! It's almost like shes heading down a path of complete destruction! Don't know what to do! We had issues a few years ago and I believed she may have Oppositional Defiance Disorder so referred to CAMS but because only problems at home and not at school not accepted - at this period she was physically violent and destructive with us and after sessions with SHIELD and Barnardos family support it settled down but now this is home and school but without the violence and I am worried this will take us back down a path, but a more serious one as the attitude and couldn't care less is so much more intense. Thoughts?????
