School catchment query

I have a bit of a dilemma regarding school catchment areas.

When we started at the school we were within the school catchment area but we have since moved to not only outside the catchment area but we now fall under a different local authority.

I've not changed the address at school as yet mainly due to being chronically disorganised. I was going to do it today but suddenly thought could they ask me to remove my (year 4) child from the school. It's an oversubscribed church school if that makes a difference?

The reasons I've kept dc at the school is due to me working 5 minutes away. I have to drive past there anyway and I'm close should I need to get to school etc.
If I moved schools closer to home I would need to drop dc seriously earlier to ensure I am at work on time. The school run currently takes 25 minutes. I would just rather stay there and close until senior school when I'll have more options. It is a good school if a little draconian and dc is very settled there.

Any advice or similar situations?

Thank you

They can't ask you to leave just because you have moved house.

Moving house is only an issue if you move between applying and taking up the place, or if there is a sibling who wants to attend too and siblings out of catchment come behind all in catchment children.

Just get them up to date with your new address.
