Hi I’m a single mum with a 13yr old daughter.
She started her periods last year and had had problems ever since.
After six months of to and throw doctors I had to rush her to a&e and she was finally diagnosed with a dermoid cyst on her ovary.
We are still waiting after two months for operation appointment, she has been of school lots because she absolutely floods for the whole 7 days we’ve been back to a&e 2 the last time the surgeon said that maybe her ovary is twisting but not to worry if it does they’ll just remove it when they take the dermoid!!!
Is it just me or is this absolutely nuts, every time I take her back to doctors I’m looked at like it’s been exaggerated it’s so frustrating, any recommendations as to what to do next.

my friend's daughter had a similar experience to what you describe, a year on she is now on a low dose pill which is helping her. Sorry not much information.
