Pooing in the middle of the night?!

Why has my toddler started doing this? Turned two a few months ago, is currently teething, not potty training, but for the last few weeks has started waking up at 2 or 3 am for a poo! Often poos during the day as well... thought we were over night time waking. Never known this in a child before??? Didn't even do this as a baby!

How strange! (And annoying to change a smelly nappy when you're half asleep). It could well be connected to the teething. What time does he have dinner and what time is bed time?

I am sure it will stop soon!

My son is 12 (tomorrow!) and has various disabilities - he still poos in his nappy during the night, it’s when his body is most relaxed.

She has dinner at 4:30 and a bedtime snack at 6:20, then bed at 8pm!

Yes, changing poo when you're sleepy not fun 🙁
