Baby stole the toddler’s food!

Got pizza because I’m a bad mum (it had vegetables on it ok!). Anyway toddler had one slice. Baby had half of my slice. And they had half a chicken stripper each.

Ate on the coffee table instead of dinner table as a treat.

Toddler gets distracted from eating easily and baby pulled himself up on the table and ate the toddler’s slice of pizza. He doesn’t even have any teeth! I tore his one into tiny bits! Clearly wasn’t necessary!

Baby is already almost the same size as the toddler too (they’re 18 months apart). Two kids, same genetic stock, so different.

Good on him! It's the only way your toddler will learn. Eat fast or don't eat Grin

I love this Grin

This is why I eat fast. Grow up with siblings with quick reactions and predatory forks and you soon learn to eat quickly so you get your whole meal.

Not the point but pizza isn't necessarily bad - some are healthier than others but whatever and your kids were fed - one more than the other Grin

Same as my two! The baby will eat anything and everything and will easily eat the toddlers food as well as her own!

This has made me smile!

Was the toddler upset when he found out?

MrsMotherHen · 07/10/2018 19:02

This is something that would happen in my house! bet you it was followed by a tantrum Wink Grin

Toddler initially seemed outraged but gave up on the pizza far too easily. He’s gonna have to learn to fight his corner!

I got to the end of my tether trying to wean DS2. He was still fully EBF, wouldn't eat any solids, I was going back to work. Until I sat him within reach of DS1 who had sausage and chips on his plate. DS2 made a grab, ate his fill and has never looked back.

My cats are like this - one gobbles up everything immediately, the other looks at it, thinks about it, and then when she decides to eat it the other one has snatched it from under her nose. So why is the slower one heavier than little miss greedy?
