When everything is going wrong?

Everything is my life is going wrong at the moment.

  • we had an unexpected £750 bill that we had to pay out last week
  • I have a new boss and it's clear he doesn't rate me even though I'm good at my job; I'm part of the SLT and I've heard he wants to bring in new people from his old place so I'm expecting to lose my job in the spring
  • rowing with husband constantly
  • DD didn't pass her 11 plus last week so is upset and stroppy. I'm disappointed and DH keeps moaning about money we spent wasted on tutor like it's my fault
  • my parents provide two days of childcare and have just announced they're moving counties next month; I have no idea how to find a nursery space in six weeks
  • I've put on half a stone since May and have no willpower to shift it

I know some things probably sound trivial but I just want a break and some good news Sad

Sorry your having a shitty time op. Few cliches got to rain to grow, dark before light ect can you think of past periods of life that have been shitty? Not to make you dwell just to remind you that they pass

Feeling like you too, OP. Have had a challenging year. I keep trying to remind myself that life is a rollercoaster ride. Things will be fine eventually.

Just wish I can stop spotting single magpies.

Thanks
