MPharm as a mature student

Hi, has anyone here completed the MPharm degree? I'm hoping to hear from some current or ex students about their experiences, especially those who studied as a mature student (I'll be early 30's when I start. Not ancient, but I'll possibly seem that way to a group of 18year olds).

I'm trying to work out when it would be best to start, as I have two kids, aged 6 and 1. Ideally I'd want to start next September, but not sure if it would be better to wait another year or two.

If you could answer the following that would be great!

  1. How many days per week did you go to University and roughly how long for each day?
  2. How much work did you honestly do outside of university? Hours per week
3.did you have a job as well ? Kids?
  1. How did you find the course? Did it hold your interest throughout or where there some modules that you found mind numbing or something?

I'm trying to work out how I can juggle everything that will cause the least amount of stress (haha) for me, DD's and DH. Thanks
