Happy Downs Syndrome Awareness Month
I felt that I am very valued and proud of supporting Downs Syndrome people children and adults as they are very special and unique and I am proud of the children and adults I am very proud of myself because I volunteered for my local group for children with DS I learnt about Downs Syndrome from my school holiday club and my inspirational friend who helped me to understand because when I was little boy I didn’t understand or know about Downs Syndrome and how they learn and way they do and some of them find to hard to do something and I always very good and supporting for them the best thing I always like to do with them is signing using Makaton with Mr Tumble as Mr Tumble is great and very special loved by children and adults with Downs and the Singing Hands ladies too they are very special and always supporting the Down’s syndrome charities as one of the ladies has DS who has Downs Syndrome and when she was told about Down’s syndrome she was worried and frightened and how to able to communicate with her child until she found the group and the video of Dave Benson Philips Makaton nursery rhymes which I have the dvd and it was my all time favourite as I learnt Makaton from him also Mr Tumble and the Singing Hands Ladies. I has done the signing song of Tightrope to support Downs Syndrome Awareness and I am very valued and proud of being there for children and adults with Down’s syndrome.
