Where are you meant to hang the damn thing?

In was so very excited to acquire one, but it's not for purpose.

See now I'm going to have to buy a Sheila Maid (or a house with a bigger garden so I can fit an outdoor washing line) to accommodate my £3 socktopus Grin

Definitely knock down the cubicle Grin

We have a clothes horse and Sockita, as DS calls her, goes on the far end so she can swing freely.

We have two as we have so many socks in winter. A friend also bought one for her husband who is an amateur photographer and has his own dark room. I also use Sockita to dry DS' paintings (he is 7yo, he paints a lot!). She is really useful.

Thanks to all the posters on this thread. We have one and I love it, it hangs on the line, inside on the airer or from a beam in the garage depending on weather conditions. It had never occurred to me to buy more than one, I will be straight to the shops to get another one today they are so handy for baby clothes.

Are they Socktopi or Socktopodi?

Clawdy · 07/10/2018 15:39

I have two, they are great. And so much stronger than most , I'd had some before, and invariably the small hanging pegs snap off eventually. Socktopi are much better!

Socktopodes.
