Does your DC’s school recycle plastic?

I am aiming to encourage my DC’s (primary) school to start recycling plastic, and/or get the PTA to recycle at their events, and/or reduce single-use plastics generally.

Would be good to hear what works and what doesn’t in schools? Any experiences of this from other parents or teachers would be welcome TIA

Meant to say, obviously ideally I want to do all three of the above, but I don’t want to go in crusading and turn people off.
