I should’ve given up years ago really. It’s such hard work! Still I’ve got knots in my stomach. There’s 12 of us on the case and I bet we don’t get a sniff.

I've registered out of boredom.
I thought it was a ballot like Wimbledon Blush. Didn't realise I had to apply.

Mammysin · 06/10/2018 20:28

Yes , here! V excited - first timer here , can't you tell? 😬😊

SPOFS · 06/10/2018 20:34

It says that I can't apply? The deadline was October 1st Sad

SPOFS You have to have registered by 1st October to apply for tickets tomorrow. However, I'm fairly sure that registration will re-open before resale in April, so you still stand a chance of getting a resale ticket.

EachandEveryone · 06/10/2018 21:09

Oh it just gets more difficult doesnt it? Its our annual get together and we didnt get them last time so we will be gutted if we dont get them. I remember when you coukd walk into hmv and get them!

Yes all the family will be logged in. Tried on Thursday too but no luck.

Sitranced · 06/10/2018 22:17

Yup, there's about 100 of us all trying for everyone in the morning thanks to spreadsheets and weeks of planning. It's not what it used to be anymore. Cant just wander into hmv to pick them up Grin

MsRinky · 06/10/2018 22:19

Yes, have double-checked everyone's details this evening and will be going in to the office in the morning because I've been successful using their network before so now I have to keep using it. Have only missed two since 1992, so I feel kind of obliged to keep at it.

EachandEveryone · 07/10/2018 08:51

Good luck!

No Luck today. Will have to try again in April. Sad
Hope others got lucky?

MsRinky · 07/10/2018 09:56

No luck here either.

AngeloMysterioso · 07/10/2018 10:05

What a fun 40 minutes that was

Anyone trying for Glastonbury tickets in morning?
AbsentmindedWoman · 07/10/2018 10:22

No, we weren't lucky either. First time trying.

HOW do some people manage to get tickets year after year? This baffled me.

AbsentmindedWoman · 07/10/2018 10:23

I mean, how do some people get as far as putting in their reg details?

We couldn't get the page to load across 3 different internet connections.

NC4Now · 07/10/2018 10:25

Gutted. We had 12 of us trying for tickets on phones, laptops and iPads. Not one of us got close.

AbsentmindedWoman · 07/10/2018 10:25

Is it simply the people with the best, strongest and fastest internet that get all the tickets?

welshweasel · 07/10/2018 10:28

I’ve not managed to get them since 2013 but was successful today using a phone. On 4g. So random.

AbsentmindedWoman · 07/10/2018 10:29

Wow, congrats! My phone couldn't even load the site.

welshweasel · 07/10/2018 10:32

Now shitting myself about the logistics of doing it with a 5 month old and 3 year old! I’m used to doing it free and single

checkedcloth · 07/10/2018 12:49

Not a sniff here, currently having a little cry

EachandEveryone · 07/10/2018 13:04

Can granny not babysit?Winkmy friends baby sitting her grandchild that will be six months by then.

Well, I feel bad now. I never got past the holding page but my friend got in from Tesco’s on her 4g. And another friend got in fromAberdeen. It’s totally random, I still have a few to try for in April. It’s strange though as soon as my friend got in there husband did also. I don’t know how it works.

No luck here either. I also double booked myself, so am pleased I can at least go to the other event now (would have cancelled if we'd got Glasto tix).

When we go, we cheat. We live 30 mins drive away, so don't camp. We've always taken the children for the day (first time they went they were 3 and 1), then taken them home to grandparents and we've gone back for the evening. It does mean opting out of some stuff - one of us can't drink as we'll be driving, and we really need to get home by 1am. But we do get to sleep in our own warm comfy beds, and have hot showers every day. And flushing toilets.

Oh Glastonbury ticket time - the stress!

We've been trying for tickets for the past 8 festivals and finally got them last year and now again this year!!

So delighted! it's just luck! That your page refreshes right at the moment there is space on the site!!

This year we got through to the payment page and it crashed as we hit the pay button - freaked out - but luckily the payment had gone through and we got the tickets - phew!!
