Dd1 has a friend round; he goes to a different secondary & we weren't expecting to see him until half term so it was a pleasant surprise when I opened the door. They're playing on the xbox talking about their schools.

Dd2 is playing with her diy playdough that we made after a trip to Asda this morning. Think she'll be occupied for quite a while yet.

I'm drinking coffee and waiting for their dad to come and tip the washer so I can put towels under it & check the filter because it's dribbling water from somewhere.

What about you lot? :)

I am being seriously sad watching High School Musical. Have been watching Doctor Who most of the day.

Getting ready to go to a party and wishing I wasn't so fat.....

Sitting on the sofa with DH while DD has her tea. DH is going to a party and staying there tonight so he's leaving in an hour, I'll then put DD to bed and watch Strictly with a takeaway. Can't wait!

I have spent the best part if the last 3 hours trying to convince dh to come to asda with me (too exhausting taking DD on my own). It's that bad. We've not left the house today and probably won't now. I'm a little bit annoyed tbh.

@Bobbiepin leave dd with dh & go wander the aisles of Asda alone! I love a good mooch round a big supermarket on my own :)

I’m watching 4 weddings and a funeral. Don’t think I’ve seen it since it was out at the cinema all those years ago. Also have a chicken making soup in the pressure cooker. I’ve been fancying some clear chicken soup for a few weeks now.

Waiting for some friends to arrive so we can have a takeaway and play some board games. Living life in the fast lane here! 😂

I went, with my husband, to our 1st Steampunk event. It was great to get all dressed up. We then went into a pub dressed in our gear, and people stared haha. Had lunch, went home, did some washing. Just getting ready for an evening at our favourite pub (we'll be wearing our normal clothes) to see a group play

Took the kids to Day Out With Thomas in the rain. Came home. We're now all asleep. (They are, I'm about to be.) Small people are knackering!

I’m in my jamas. I’ve done a charity event today which saw me climb 1/10th of Everest so my legs are ruined!
