Harry Potter tour digital guide question

I’m going to book to take DS8 to the HP tour. I’ve been before with friends and bought the ticket plus souvenir guide and digital guide. DS isn’t interested in the souvenir guide, I don’t want another one but can’t see an option for just ticket and digital guide and there is nothing on their FAQs.

Can you hire a digital guide on the day or do I have to fork out for the souvenir guide again to get it or just walk around without? I’m not sure if DS will use the digital guide properly or just mess about with it, and as I’ve been before I’m not sure I need it again.

I got the digital guide and after the first couple of “points” I stopped using it as I didn’t feel it was adding anything. It ran out of battery soon after so I would have had to get it replaced part way round anyway... I saw lots of people saying it had had run out partway around.

So... personally I wouldn’t bother....

Yeah I wouldn’t bother either. I’ve been a few times and we had the digital guide the first time we went but found we didn’t look at everything properly because we were listening to the guide.

I’ve never used it.

Do ask for the golden snitch seeking booklet if they still do that. DC lived looking for the snitches as we went round and the second time we went we weren’t to,d about it and had to ask.
