Gro bags / sleeping bags

If you used them, what age did you switch to a duvet?
We're going to buy our 2yo 'big boy' bedding today as recently he's been shouting at us to take his sleeping bag off at bedtime, last night we put a blanket on him instead and he was much happier so think it's time now. He turned 2 at the end of July and is thankfully still happy in his cot but I know we'll probably have to take the side off at some point soon as without a sleeping bag he'll probably try to climb out.
Just curious what age other people switched.

Mine stayed in theirs till they were nearly 2! Absolutely brilliant!

DS stayed in a sleeping bag until he was 2 and his feet reached the end. It also coincided with us moving him into a proper bed from his cot. I liked the sleeping bag because it stopped him from sticking his feet out the cot bars and climbing out!

My (25th height centile) DC is still in his at over two and a half!
Stops him climbing out the cot.

When he’s potty trained we'll get him a bed and switch then.

This is an unexpected benefit of having a midget baby Grin

We swapped when we took the side off the cot at about 22 months. DS is very tall and a climber though, we only made it that long by having the cot mattress right on the floor.

DD is currently 11m and I’m hoping she’s in them in the cot for much longer!

My 2y3m boy is still in a sleeping bag, or 'beedobag' as he calls them! He's tall but we got 18m-4y ones to keep him contained!!

DS went to sleep very happily under his new bedding earlier. Fingers crossed he doesn't start climbing out of his cot. He does generally like his cot though and asks to go in it at nap time so we might have a while longer yet.
He has absolutely no safety sense yet and the thought of him wandering around at night time makes me break out in cold sweats.

Stopped using grow bags before the summer ready to use a quilt over winter. DD is 2 & 9 months. However she was kicking the quilt off loads.

Considered buying the Gro to bed bedding like this. All reviews sounded good.

Ended up going with these though. Unfortunately sold out now. But they're great and you may find something similar online.
