Can't find a thread on it. Sorry if there is one and I've doubled up.
Just decided to do it, as september was a really stressful month with problems at work, a bereavement of a close family member and the cat getting seriously ill. I noticed myself reaching for the bottle as soon as I could every night and wanted to put the brakes on it.
On day 5. Been OK so far. I've wanted wine most nights but just had a cup of tea instead. Having alcohol-free Bavarian beer tonight as it's Friday night. DH reckons that's cheating - not sure how, but since he's not doing it, I'm ignoring that.
Anyone in? How's it going? What soft drinks and mocktails are you having instead? Feeling any better? I had a grumpy day yesterday but fine today.
