I've written a blog on dyslexia (Dylsexia Awareness Week). Can I post it on Mumsnet?

Hi. Left a temporary job that was lovely but ending. Got a new permanent job but its awful. Group of factory managers whose mistakes are excused but I'm responsible for sorting. Could wait it out but thinking it might be worth leaving now with one weeks notice as in 3 weeks time I'll have to work 3 months notice! Anyone else got 3 months notice period in their contract of employment? Scares me - stuck with very changeable boss. People leave regularly & my boss "jokes". God job I like ya else I'd sack ya. What the heck? I think there is a chance of being sacked if the mood takes them . People have been sacked - then they all have a good laugh about it with HR. It's not great.

I am very new to this but feel I need assistance and guidance from other mums who may understand my predicament! I have a newly turned 13 year old (31/10) who has not attended school for about 4 weeks! My son at the age of 6 walking to school one day said “how long do I have to do this for?” I replied “arch another 10 years”. Is there anyone out there that can relate to me? My child not nasty, not being bullied, just hates school! I feel alone, have a good circle of friends and work colleagues but no one understands my plight!

Hi I have a 11cm Dias recti , currently waiting for a ultrasound to see if there's a umbilical hernia,my doctor will send me to see a gi surgeon ,will the NHS fix it and do you have to have a tummy tuck 🧡

My name is Afolake Akinfe and I am an Information Services professional, a Librarian,
With the advent of COVID19, an alternate mode of providing access to specific study support resources, covering the subjects of the national curriculum at the different key stage levels, has highlighted a need for a curated platform of collated material for home study. In addition, galvanised the Information Professional world to prioritized advocacy for an alternate mode of access and delivery by all information Professionals in support of Learning at home and how to support parents.
To facilitate this, it is particularly important to investigate and understand the previous trends; learning resources access, categories and mindsets of how or what parents were used to, prior to COVID19, e.g. how they monitored their children’s study, , accessed study support resources at home, in the evenings, on weekends and whilst on the move.
I, as an information professional believe that advocacy is the best way forward as a form of contribution to the narrative of supporting learning at home. This enquiry will be undertaken in the form of a 1-minute survey. This will elicit data to enable Information professionals/ Librarians to discover how to create alternate modes of access to study resources during this era of lockdown, specifically, Digital Access. The end game for this, is to recreate a study support system, based on usage trend of parents on how or what category service was available prior COVID19.
Note:The survey is anonymous. Your support is urgently needed to find an alternate form of resources in providing learners access to online resources, so please visit and participate.
The first phrase is to ask parents/carers/families of secondary school age children, questions their child’s school Library. This is a short survey, which will lead to the next survey in a series of 3.

Hi,
I’m a newbie and looking for a wee bit of advice. I live just outside Glasgow with my 11 soon to be 12 year old son. He has no friends at all to socialise with and this breaks my heart. He talks to other kids online but they never meet up outside. I suspect the others are meeting up and just not inviting my son. I know he has asked them but it doesn’t come to anything. My son seems so unhappy
