Sorry boring but as the title really. I want a very good one this time. Are miele worth the price?

I just love my LG direct drive. Sooooo quiet, washes really well, has a quickwash which is 30 mins and - the best bit - plays a little tune when it's finished! Does anyone else have one?

Loved our AEG washer dryer. Washer lasted years but drier died after 4. Not a spot of bother with it until the very end.

Now have a Miele washer dryer and I love it. Had a little teething trouble when it arrived but sorted out within 24hrs by their lovely service guy (needed a firmware update!). However, it weighs a tonne so pay for installation and it can sometimes be too smart for it's own good (flags a water error if we have the dishwasher and shower on at the same time as the water pressure drops). But it cleans brilliantly, stains come right out with just detergent.
