I just soiled myself on the way to work

Please make me feel better.
In traffic, en route to work. Felt the rumblings of an imminent trump. Tried to squeeze it out and shat myself.
What then followed was the worst stomach cramps I've felt in a while, along with what can only be described as a warm oozing sensation. I couldn't hold it in!
Immediately did a U-turn and drove home to the privacy of my toilet. And my shower.
I don't think it's a bug so I'm still planning on going to work. It's ovulation time though and for some reason that always sends my bowels a bit funny.
The worst part is it leaked onto the interior of my car, so now I have a small brown stripe of shame in the driver's seat.
How's your Friday morning going?

I got to work for a 7:30am shift

I just totally misread that as 'I got to work for a 7:30am shit'...

If your IBS really kicks in during ovulation, perhaps you need to think of strategies for the future, OP. Sorry you had this experience though.

Conseulabananahammock · 06/10/2018 15:08

My ibs is horrific at that time of month. Made worse by the fact I forget when that time of month is as since my ablation and sterilisation I don't actually bleed. Currently suffering now after a night on the loo! IBS sucks

I see the professionally offended are out today Hmm

The thread title is pretty clear. Why did so many click on it, read it and then fucking moan about the content?

OP the shame will pass (I hope, haven't had this myself, touch wood!).

Shockers · 06/10/2018 15:26

My mum once had to stand guard in a wood because of my ibs. The plan was for her to engage anyone who may have passed my shrub of shame in loud conversation, and walk them away. You have my sympathy OP.

Must be awful to have IBS. Might be better if people could discuss it anonymously like this on forums as they must feel so alone with this problem.
