Personality types. Real or ridiculous?

Friends and family have done the Myers Brigg personality tests and they appear to be scarily accurate. Have you done one and do you agree?
Views from psychologists and HR people especially welcome.

I did a workshop in work once based on these. It was amazing. Mixed personality groups worked so well on activities together whereas when we were put in groups of the same type to do an activity nothing was achieved.

I think they’ve been disproven but I love them anyway. I am an enfp and my dd 21 is an intj. Luckily we get on despite our obvious differences!

Hi, I love them too and can't believe how accurate they were for my family (who are all completely different and jarring). I'm in INFJ.
