What makes you irrationally annoyed

For me it's drivers that don't acknowledge that I've let them out or pedestrians who don't put a quick hand up when i've stopped to let them cross. Such little things but it gives me instant rage!

Queue jumpers, I am here waiting & not invisible!

Also enforced jollity, I'll decide for myself when I want to smile or what I want to enjoy thanks!

I get annoyed when I'm at work and realise it's going to be a dry day and I haven't put a load of washing on the line. Obvs completely unimportant in the large scheme of things but still winds me up. I am aware that I need to get out more.

Very similar threads that keep popping up on here! Sorry OP. And apostrophes that aren’t needed eg pizza’s, toilet’s etc. It’s like people are scared to just put an s on the end of a word! I know it doesn’t matter in the grand scheme of things but it annoys me. There’s more but I put it on another thread!

Dh not knowing how to tiptoe when kids are asleep, he's like a herd of elephants and always wakes them up.

piggie88 · 04/10/2018 21:56

Agree with the people not saying thank you and speed limits.

I got so irrationally annoyed a few days ago when I was waiting to use the toilet and two people both walked straight past me and tried to open the door, a few times too even though it was obviously locked, and then turned to me and said ‘oh is there a queue?’! No I’m just standing here outside the toilet like an idiot! Obviously I was polite but inside I was raging.

Kettles, every single one of them I’ve had has been so fucking loud.
Does no one make a quiet kettle.
Why the hell can’t I try before I buy.
Every time I have to shout “For fucks sake be quiet”
Even that doesn’t seem to work.
Bastard kettles.

Nannewnannew · 04/10/2018 22:06

My friend constantly picking at a hard piece of skin on her hand which makes an awful clicking sound! For goodness sake, just stop it!!

DollyDayScream · 04/10/2018 22:07

People who casually stroll into your way with their trolley in supermarkets. I was thinking earlier it's usually middle class people in Waitrose, and do your response has to be middle class when inwardly you're do irritated at having to dodge trollies every 5 seconds you just want to shout "will you look where you are fucking going?!"

RunSweatLaughAndLatte · 04/10/2018 22:34

*so not do

bourbonbiccy · 04/10/2018 22:42

northlaine · 04/10/2018 23:23

Mouth noises.

PanGalaticGargleBlaster · 04/10/2018 23:26

The bloke who sits opposite me at work who noisily eats breadsticks like bugs bunny eats a carrot.

northlaine · 04/10/2018 23:26

And a gross thing my husband does which is to use a piece of nail as a toothpick & move it about with his tongue. I can see him doing it out of the corner of my eye & it makes me completely irrationally seething. Actually, seeing as it's disgusting, maybe it is totally rational to feel annoyed & it therefore doesn't count? Grin
