Help! Is this weird?

DD moved up a room at nursery last week, and I've bought a card and a tub of Celebrations to give to the lovely women in her old room, just to say thanks for making her start at nursery as easy as possible for all of us.

But now I feel suddenly silly and over the top. She's my first, so I've no idea of the etiquette. Is it the done thing or will they think it's really weird if I give this gift to them?!

I think that’s a lovely gesture

AliceRR · 04/10/2018 16:29

I’m 21 weeks pregnant with my first so no idea if it’s the done thing but sounds nice, not weird

Bluntness100 · 04/10/2018 16:29

No of course it's not weird, who doesn't love a gift and being told they are appreciated.

I'm assuming on saying that you're not some mad stalker of this woman. But past that go for it.😁

It's a lovely thing to do. They will very much appreciate it. Smile

Oh good, I'm glad other people think it's nice and not odd! Thank you for replying.

Bluntness100, it's for a group rather than an individual, so hopefully no one will feel stalked!

What a lovely idea! Definitely nice not weird!

BikeRunSki · 04/10/2018 16:53

It’s fine, and not unusual.

SparkyBlue · 04/10/2018 21:24

No it's not at all unusual or weird. She will appreciate it.
