What's better - unemployment or long term sickness?

I have posted numerous times about being off sick / work refusing to put adjustments in place to help so I don't want to go into details here but I'll put links to my previous threads at the bottom of this one.

Realistically speaking, my job isn't working out for me because of my disability and I have two options - to hand in my notice now, or to go off on long term sick until I find a new job.

In terms of finding a new job, what looks better for prospective employers - somebody who's on long term sick or somebody who's unemployed?

I obviously wouldn't be looking for an identical role elsewhere but I still don't want a prospective employer thinking badly of me.

Sorry, I don't know why my links didn't work. I don't know how to make them become hyperlinks.

Op, you need to seek advice on this. If you resign could you go for constructive dismissal? Did you speak to ACAS as I advised on your last thread?

Go off sick in the meantime.

@OliviaBenson unfortunately the items from access to work recommendations are not considered "reasonable adjustments" apparently so I wouldn't be able to claim constructive dismissal on that front. Realistically though even if they bought just a keyboard and mouse, that's not going to make a vast difference if nothing else is put on place. Hence why I feel I only have two options.
