Retail theft

So I work in retail. Reported a theft today. Parents and 2 kids come in after school. Older child roughly age 8, smaller girl 4-5 years. They loaded up the older girl and got her to walk out through the entrance doors

Then they came in for more but were put off by staff members near the doors. Poor child stood terrified.... her parents outside and staff members near the door. She froze

Her mother came in eventually to get her

So police are on it now. Car details have led to an address. So what will happen to these girls?

Nothing, in terms of them being charged, as they are below the age of criminal responsibility. The parent may well be charged though, and Social Services involved.

Yes. The parents, and by default, the girls.

They don't stand s chance with parents like that
