Tell me how to write a stonking University personal statement please.

I'm applying to uni on my own, not through a college so I'm on my own with this. Can you help me with an outline of what to say & what to avoid? Many thanks

Surely there is no BPAS accredited courses that will accept entry with an NVQ in Childcare?!?!?

Please note - if it’s not BPAS accredited, you will never work in the field.

The degree may get you ‘a job’, on the merits of being a graduate.

Psychology however, is far too competitive a field for anyone to get anywhere with an NVQ in Childcare, and then a non-BPAS accredited degree.

Sorry to be harsh. But university is too expensive now to do a degree just because you like the subject. It needs to have a viable future in it.

This situation sounds like it has huge potential to lend you with £50k of debt without a lucrative career at the end of it.

Anybody got any stats on numbers of graduates going into low paid call centre or customer service roles?
