DS has just scratched his reading glasses Confused anything I can do to get rid ? Google says toothpaste but I'm worried I'll make it worse

scratched how? Small whisker type at the edge? Centre? Great skid mark of a graze as they hurtled across the playground under someone's shoe??

If it is fine and not central he probably wont even notice it, if it's worse and compromising his vision and he is under 16 the NHS should issue a repair/replacement voucher to replace the lens.

Don't faff with toothpaste, you will make it worse.
