DS saw a consultant paediatrician a few weeks ago, and as a result of that appointment I am expecting a follow-up appointment, a referral to speech therapy and to take DS for blood tests. Haven't heard anything yet though, so just wondering how many weeks to leave it before ringing up and asking her secretary for an update? I know they'll be snowed under and expect a wait, but want to be sure letters haven't been lost in the post and that referrals are progressing. What's a reasonable timeframe, do you think?
