I haven’t had a Kit Kat in years until today. Have they got shorter?!

I used to enjoy a cuppa and a lot kat every afternoon nap time when my kids were little (so over 10 years ago!)

Just bought a big pack of kit kats for the first time since then and either my hands have got bigger or they must have shrunk by a centimetre?

I was aware of calorie intake at one time (ds2 was fussy, he needed calories and enjoyed kit kat now and then!) and I’m sure they were something like 128 calories.

This packaging has in big letters: ORIGINAL 104 calories on the front.

Anyone know if they have actually got ever so slightly smaller? Or is it just me imgining things?

PS I have of course had to have 2 due to my indignance at the “shrunken kitkat” so will get very fat very quickly unless someone can convince me that they have indeed always been that size and/or amount of calories.

They do seem tiny, hence why i swapped to kit Kat chunkies . Bite of the chocolate from each end and suck your hot drink through it like a straw delicious!

I've just been bemoaning my shrunken mars bar. Why do they keep shrinking stuff and thinking we are stupid enough to not notice. At least McDonald's told us they were shrinking the mcflurry.

. But they’re just adding to the obesity crisis if we all switch our loyalty from shrunken kit kats to kitkat chunky! I think that’s their real (evil) intention. Make more money that way

Doesn't matter, all chocolate seems to taste greasy nowadays, anyway!

Blackladybug omg does that work? Isn’t a chunky in, well, chunks, that would stop the straw like qualities? Does it work with an ordinary kitkat?

I think all manufacturers are hoping we don’t notice. Even makeup - a Boots pressed powder compact used to last me 6 months or more. I only use it once a day in the morning! I’m lucky if it lasts 3 months now.

I’d rather pay slightly more than have an inferior product which just adds more to the plastic waste pile.

Shitty manufacturers out for profit only.....

Mars bars are like old fun-size ones. I was 'very surprised' when I bought some recently for DS's chocolate stash.

And they got rid of the foil surrounding the kit kat. It just isn’t the same anymore.
