Anyone been to Luxembourg?

Trying to find a short break in Christmas holidays and found a bargain in Luxembourg. Just a day or two, wandering round sightseeing and having a coffee is what we like doing. Luxembourg sounds a bit different. Any tips? Thanks. We are a family of 4, kids are 18 and 20.

I went in 2013 and loved it, very pretty and easy to walk around, though there was a good bus network also. Food and drink, there’s everything from rustic to high end. A lot of things closed down late Saturday afternoon and stayed closed on Sunday, but we found things to do and places to eat. I’d guess that places will stay open longer while you’d be there because of the Christmas market.

I’d say go for it! 🇱🇺

Thanks Smile What about language, seems to be multilingual. We can manage some French, will that suffice? Our German isn't great.

I think the country has three or four official languages. French will get you goodwill, I’m sure, but English is widely spoken, and I found people generally very helpful.
