Baby rolling help, don't know what to do

Ok so she's my second child but I didn't have this problem with my first. She's almost five months old and been rolling from back to front for a while. However she doesn't have the greatest head control yet. She's not reliable at keeping her head up when she's on her tummy. The problem is she's started doing this at night and literally just buries her face in the mattress, she doesn't tip her face to the side or lift her head. Her snuffling rubbing her face in the mattress is what wakes me up. So what do I do? I'm worried she'll suffocate if I don't wake up

Have you tried tucking her sleeping bag in tightly at the bottom of the mattress? That stopped both of mine rolling during the night.

Yep I've tucked it in as tight as possible she just kicks her legs until it loosens up, I caught her doing it this morning, she's a pretty determined little thing haha

Get a Sleepyhead. Our little girl rolled from about 14 weeks but couldn't get back, so would wake herself (and us) up yelling and roaring. The Sleepyhead stopped her rolling over at all which gave us more peace of mind (and sleep)!

I was considering one of those but I thought they weren't recommended for night time sleep, or am I confusing them with something else

Hey. You're confused. They're suitable for nighttime sleep. Smile

Excellent I'll get one and give it a try thank you
