Charles Aznavour has died

Aged 94.

Singer, writer, humanitarian, political and social activist and unafraid to give a voice to people without one.

He performed his last show on 17 September 2018. I've been a huge fan for many years - RIP.

Can I drop these here for anyone interested.

Saw him interviewed on telly on Friday. Still pretty compos mentis. What an amazing voice the man had, like golden syrup.

Ah, that is sad. I love a bit of French crooning, and Charles Aznavour had particularly nice and sweet songs...

Amazing singer, and also songwriter, he wrote over a thousand songs. My favourite is

Oh Charles :( What a man. La Boheme always reduces me to tears. So redolent of loves and lives. A life well lived.
