Well that's another bit of childhood gone. RIP Geoffrey 🌈

R.I.P. 🌈

Oh no! I met him in a bar once. He was next to me ordering and I took out a really colourful purse to pay. I hadn't noticed him at all til he leaned over and said, "Bungle would love that", and off he went with his drink. RIP Geoffrey.

Ah no!!

George will not know how to cope. Bungle will be trying to help and getting it hopelessly wrong. Zippy will be trying to come up with all the answers. Rod, Jane and Freddy will sing a sad song.

(I actually thought when I saw the thread title that someone had named a baby Geoffrey and the OP was saying NO! FGS NO!)

Nooooo. I grew up watching Rainbow. And mainly listening to my nana making less that favourable remarks about Geoffrey.

I feel sorry for George and Zippy but not Bungle. I don't like Bungle.

Hard lines Geoffrey and RIP. The original Rainbow host, David Cook, is also no longer with us. Likewise, Roy Skelton who voiced George and Zippy.

Just a thought; there are no rainbows without rain.
