Our ancient Bosch washing machine has finally given up . Any ideas on best new model to choose? Can spend around £300. Doesn't need to be Bosch!

I have an AEG which has been brilliant but gone wrong now just out of its 5 year warranty, second I have had but we do use it a lot.

We have had a Beko for 3 and a half years. It's on 3 times every day (6x dc at home) and I have replaced the door seal myself once @£20 and nothing else!!

I like my Samsung ecobubble. Standard 40oC wash is only 1'02 and there are 15/30 min options. Clothes come out clean & well spun & it sings to you when it's done (you can turn it off!).
Also love the addwash door which I thought was a gimmick, but I do use often.

I had a very bad experience with my last Beko - it only lasted about 18months with various call outs.

My Samsung broke recently a few months out of its 5 year warranty, but it was only £78 to fix.

I asked the repairman what he'd replace it with if it hadnt been able to be fixed and he said a 9kg beko.

My AEG has just been fixed this afternoon which is great. I do a lot of washing too and on the whole great machine.
