Just found some hand written letters from friends from the last century, it's seems a different time and age.

Virtually the only post we get nowadays is bills, statements, catalogues and recycling. I remember that frisson when you recognised someone's handwriting on an envelope, especially when it was unexpected. Post is boring now.

I received a real letter this morning! It was from my dad - I recognised his handwriting on the envelope immediately, and then realised that I had not seen his handwriting in years, bar a signature on birthday cards.
