Stool sample !

I have to hand in a stool sample for tests DS has been having. We were given a sample pot from the hospital with DS's info printed on it.

My question is, does the pot need to be handed back in at our surgery (10 miles away) or can it be any closer surgery? Would save a lot of faff tomorrow if I can give it in at the clinic down the road but don't want to rock up and embarrass myself!

AFAIK no clinic that you’re not registered with will take it off your hands. You will have to hand it to the clinic you’re registered with or the hospital department requesting it I think. I have to do these often.
