Clothes shopping for a six year old girl

Hello;) my daughter is six and I'm finding it so difficult to find nice practical clothing for her. We bought almost everything in next when she was younger as I loved their stuff. However, the range for over six isn't half as nice. I find a lot of it very tacky. She loves leggings and nice tops and the odd dressy outfit. I have looked in Zara and h and m and haven't been very impressed. Equally I'm not a huge fan of debenhams. Primark can be fab but their current stock isn't great. Marks have some nice stuff. I know I sound really fussy but I enjoy getting nice bits for her. Anyone have any recommendations? Thanks very much Smile

I love sainsburys kids clothes, nice quality so it washes well, bold colours and kiddy images not lots of vaguely sexual or social media themed slogans.

Boden in the sale. Scandi brands like Maxomorra / JNY for leggings. Dd's current favourite trousers are something obscure from tk maxx but you have to trawl the rails!

Vertbaudet. Boden, Joules and White Stuff either on sale or from eBay. Sainsbury's is consistently good. Gap.

Haven’t looked at their older kids clothes but I love Gap for my toddler so have a look there.

H &M

H and M is good.

Leggings I get from M&S, Joules, Jojo maman (largest size is 5-6, but they’re fairly generous), H&M in the 3 for 2
Tops- frugi, joules, H&M, M&S, boden (there’s a fab last season eBay seller), John Lewis

We gave up on Next at about the same age. Lands End are filling the gap right now - hard wearing, bright colours, soft cotton textures, and good for tall/slim fitting.

Thanks very much... I'm on mini Boden now and their stuff is exactly what I'm looking for. I'm in Ireland so we have no Sainsburys but I'll see will they deliver. Equally I must look into Land's End. Smile
