Gifts to remind someone of UK

Our DD has two Canadian friends in their late 20s who have been over in the UK for a couple of years and who will be returning to Canada early next year. They're coming to us for Christmas and I want to put together a collection of things that will remind them of their time in the UK.

Whatever I get them needs to be small and light to transport back to Canada. I was thinking things like tea towels with images of Britain, fridge magnets/key rings, some edible stuff like shortbread, some proper tea - and now my imagination has run out! Can anyone help with some suggestions, please?

TIA

Something sweet? Fudge? A mug?

A mug stuffed with fudge? :)

Good suggestion; thank you. I could make tablet for them.

If they like cooking what about some of those little Favourite cook books you get in tourist shops? Favourite British Puddings/Casserole etc etc. Usually see them in post card type racks. I don't think I'm explaining them very well sorry!

Union Jack coasters.

A calendar with photos of places they’ve been and things they’ve done during their time here.

Do you live in an area that is noted for somethig?
for example: the Jane Austen literature class i attended had a JA fan visit from Australia. We bought her a piece of Nottingham lace. Only A5 sized, we had it lightly frames and all signed the back. Our tutor wrote an Austen quote about friendship on there.

Although I like the idea of some sort of permanent photos memento as previously suggested.

You can get proper tea in Canada.

If you go for mug then cath kidston has really cute London mugs

Great suggestions, thank you. I do know they can get "proper" tea in Canada, but I was thinking some commemorative tea caddy type thing to remind them of their stay here.

Making a list now :)

I would probably go for photos too. Local area etc. More specific to them rather than generic souvenirs which are along the lines of the things they probably take home with them to their friends.

Not that small but debenhams have pretty biscuit tins in the shape of camper vans (and maybe other things, I only really noticed the campervan ones).

BERO cookery book

Blue John or jet pendant.

I saw shortbread in a london bus tin. KitKats also came in bus tins last christmas.

As we come up to christmas you'll find lots of things with red postboxes, which would be sweet.

DD will probably do something with photos as she has been to quite a few places with them. So some stuff will be generic British but I am hoping they will like the thought behind it.
