Lost ability to make decisions

This happened to anyone else? The past couple of weeks I've totally lost the ability to make any sort of decision, big or small. If pushed I just end up crying! I'm not usually like this...

Are you very stressed? A lot on your mind? This happens to sometimes when I have a lot on - it's as though I just don't have the headspace for anything else.

Yes, and as pp, it happens mostly when I’m very stressed (down to the crying). Cried in the supermarket cleaning aisle last weekend because I was so paralysed with indecision.
Get to the root cause, do some exercise somewhere quiet or get out for a country walk or or totally away somewhere for a couple of hours. It won’t fix it, but does help to keep things manageable in the short term.

Yes it's stress Sad you have to start by tackling the courses of the stress but it's a slow process.

Would you agree that you are stressed?

This happens to me when my thyroid levels are off...I have an underactive thyroid and the inability to make a decision is one of the first signs that I am not controlling it properly.

Stress, thyroid, digestive issues leaving you with low blood sugar, other hormones messed up (changed BC recently?), SAD onset... could be loads of things.

My coping technique is to try and not get stuck in the "what if" circle, if you get caught in a mental loop wind back to whatever you first thought when you tried to make a decision and just run with that since it's obviously not actually that important so who cares what you do. Ideal for meals and stuff, maybe not so good when buying a house...
