Beavers badges - need help working out where it goes!

Have managed to work out where most of the badges go on the uniform by looking at the online diagrams but there's one badge that doesn't appear on any of the diagrams...

It's rectangle, purple and has a crown symbol and what look like curly V signs...
It's not the District or membership badge as have those. Dd hasn't been doing it for long so hasn't any of the activity badges yet (which are round). Am really confused, can anyone help?

Can you put a picture of it up?
It's not ringing any bells.

autumnboys · 29/09/2018 13:18

Doesn’t erring a bell, but wonder if it's an occasional badge. Some of them just go on for a short period of time, I think. Mine had a golden jubilee badge & poor old FIL, a former county commissioner, was scandalised when he came to our town wide St George's day parade some years later and some of the kids were still wearing them. Mine weren't, but only because they'd moved up since and I knew not - -was too lazy- - to move them over.

Strike through fail and autocorrect. Wonderful.

From your description it sounds like the World Scouts badge. Are you sure it isn't that one?

Bluebellbike · 29/09/2018 14:01

Sorry I see you say it is rectangular and the world badge is round

InvisibleToEveryone · 29/09/2018 14:03

That's what I initially thought Bluebell, but OP says it's rectangular??

dameofdilemma · 29/09/2018 14:13

Will try to post a pic of it, here goes...

I’m a beaver leader and I don’t recognise it! I’ve even checked the ones from the old system (badges all changed a couple of years ago) and can’t see something that seems right.

May be a locally issued badge do you’d need to ask your leader.

QueenofLouisiana · 29/09/2018 14:15

Sorry- cross posted with pic. Definitely not a badge issued beaver-wide.

Hmmalittlefishy · 29/09/2018 14:17

This is always a useful diagram for badges
members.scouts.org.uk/supportresources/2634/position-of-badges-on-uniform-beaver-scouts

Or if you can't see it on there was it from a special event and therefore needs to go on a camp blanket?

AvoidingDM · 29/09/2018 14:28

Are you sure its not a regional badge that sits on the arm next to the district badge?

topcat2014 · 29/09/2018 14:40

Another beaver leader here - but don't recognise it either.

dameofdilemma · 29/09/2018 15:02

Thanks all, will check with the leaders. There are already two district badges but maybe it's a third!

i would say that is a M and a L over the top of each other - do those letters mean something for your troop or local area?
