Buying stuff in USA - is there a way to consolidate parcels before posting?

I'm trying to buy 10 books on AbeBooks that aren't available anywhere else. In each case, the book costs less than $3 USD, and the postage within the USA is free or a minuscule amount, but postage overseas is ridiculous, anywhere between $9 and $50.

Is there any scheme where you can post stuff to an address in the USA and then they re-pack everything into the smallest possible package and send it to you at a reasonable rate?

All from different sellers presumably? Could you maybe contact one seller and ask if you could have the other books sent to them and then they package and send together for the appropriate fee?

Anyone know if booksellers might be willing to do that?

There are companies that give you a US address and will consolidate parcels at a fee, before sending to you. I've used ReShip before and it was a good service. There are other companies providing a similar service. Do make an estimate of the shipping fee with the calculator. It is expensive to Europe.

I've used myus to do this, simple and easy and you chose how you want it shipped to the UK so can have it delivered as quickly as you want
