Metal knob, first world problem

To clarify, I hate the term first world problem because honestly if it's a problem to you it doesn't actually matter that it's not the worst thing in the whole entire world, but I also get that sometimes we need a little perspective.

The weather changed this week with it getting pretty chilly overnight. I jumped in the car then spent the first 10 minutes of the journey cursing the ridiculously cold gear knob! God it's icy, I might get frostbite in the middle of winter. Why Peugeot, why did you make your knobs out of heat sapping metal?!? Side note, why are you so hard to spell? Confused

Anyone got anything more lamer, the lamest first world problem to cheer me up as winter approaches and I have to face the prospect of a cold knob every morning? Grin

That's insane! I can't bear cold hands. You need some driving gloves until the car warms up. I wear bike gloves with grippy palms.

My new water bottle is too wide for the cupholder in my car. Bloody annoying.

Our old cars (Peugeot) cup holders were too small for my coffee mug - first thing I checked for when we were buying a new car was would the cups fit Grin

I have fingerless gloves for the cold mornings

My old car had a metal round knob...I used one of baby DS's fluffy mittens on it for years Grin

My DH's car is an older Mercedes - and has NO CUPHOLDERS AT ALL! Shocking oversight.
