Children at funeral

A lose relative has just died and we are planning to go to the funeral. There will be me, my DH and our 5 year old DD. She's 115cm tall and 5 years old, and weighs about 20kg. Does anyone know if she'll be able to travel in the family limousine/car. Everything I've read says no, she'd need to be in a high backed child seat due to age, weight and height. I know in taxis you don't need to be in a car seat if it's short distance and unexpected. Any help/suggestions - does anyone know? My DH is happy to drive in our car, with DD in her normal car seat, and for me to go in the family limo - but if we can safely (and legally) travel together, it would be preferable. Thanks for any help!

I'm sorry I don't know but could you ask the funeral directors? Hopefully they will be able to help Flowers

This may be a silly question, but can you not just put her hbb in the limo? We travelled in family limo cars for a funeral when my daughter was very small and we just put her infant car seat in the limo with us.

My understanding is that it's like a taxi and they don't tend to get up to a high speed unless they have to travel a stretch of motorway.

Why can't you put a high back boaster in the limo though?

Yes we had this a few weeks ago. They travel so slowly they are less likely to be in a crash.
